More Nashville

There's nothing like a fun trip with the family. My sisters and brother in law goofing around and some more random scenes. This was a great weekend trip to be creative and relax. It always helps being in a fresh environment and being surounded by other artists and a unique environment. I had a lot of fun and enjoyed seeing the fam for a weekend.

These are a few of the pictures I took while in Nasheville. In between hony Tonkin and eating bbq i found some time to snap off a few fun night shots and a lot of street scenes.

Rock

This is a thin slice of rock that I backlit with
an alien bee. It was just a fun experimental shot.

Matches

This is a pack of matches i shot with a d-100 to
do some new macro stuff. It is lit with an alien
bee and a fill card.

Fly

I shot this fly with a d-100 with a nikromat
macro lens with an extension tube. It is lit
with one alien bee and a fill card.

Cane Creek Finals

I shot these images at the cane creek finals at
hobby park in Winston-Salem. I was shooting
with a Nikon D1X and had a 300 mm lens as
well as a 24-85mm lens.

Mountaineer football

I shot these images at the Appalachian homecoming
game with a Nikon D1X with a 300 mm lens. It was
shot at ISO 400 with no flash.

Cadillac

I shot these images @ iso 200 and f-5.6. They
were shot with no flash and they are some of
the first images i used a lot of heavy editing on.
I actually like the way they turned out but will
probably reshoot at some point.

Copper

This image was shot on 100 speed chrome with a
105 mm lens with an extension tube. I lit this
with one hotlight and a fill card.

Rock the Block

These are a couple of bands i saw play at
the annual Rock The Block festival in
downtown Winston-Salem. I took these
shots on 400 speed fuji film with a 28-80
mm lens on a nikon n-65. I used a vivitar
283 flash off camera.

Richmond

I shot these images a couple of years ago on a
visit to Richmond Va. They were shot on Kodak
100 speed chrome. i am not sure of the exposure
or even the camera and lense used to shoot this.

Championship

I shot this game last year using a nikon d-100
with a 300mm lense. Aside from it being dark
i was forced to shoot from the stands. I used
a vivtar 283 flash but was to far from the action
for it to help much.
